Action opens fourth distribution center in Poland

• Action’s 18th DC in Europe measures 44,000m² and will supply up to 180 Action stores in Poland and Germany.
• The DC will create around 400 jobs in the region in the long run.
• The site is fully gas-free and has achieved a BREEAM Outstanding certification, the leading international standard for sustainable building constructions

Szczecin, 20 March, 2026 – Action, the non-food discounter, opens its fourth distribution center (DC) in Poland today, located in Dunikowo, close to the city of Szczecin. With this 18th distribution center in Europe, Action continues to invest in the development of its supply chain in Poland. The DC in Dunikowo is managed and operated directly by Action and it will employ up to 400 colleagues in the long run. Since opening its first store in Poland in 2017 in Leszno, Action has 453 stores in Poland today, while employing over 6800 people.

Every aspect of the facility – from construction materials to installed equipment – has been sustainable designed for ecological and environmentally friendly operations.”

The site is fully gas-free and has achieved a BREEAM Outstanding certification, the leading international standard for sustainable building constructions, reflecting Action’s strong commitment to sustainable building practices and combining high environmental performance with efficient and functional design.
