Action opens its 100th store in Spain

●        Action opens its 100th store in Spain, less than four years after its first store opening in the country
●        The new store in Málaga measures 760 square metres and is managed by a team of 23 colleagues

Madrid, 20 November 2025 – Action, the non-food discounter, opens its 100th store in Spain in Málaga, less than four years after its first store opening, in Girona in February 2022.

Action welcomes more than 20 million customers every week in more than 3,000 stores in 14 European countries. Customers visiting Action can enjoy its unique formula: a surprising range of 6,000 good quality and increasingly sustainable products, in 14 product categories offering everyday necessities and products that make life easier or more enjoyable (ranging from Laundry & Cleaning and Personal Care to Toys & Entertainment, Do-It-Yourself or Garden & Outdoor), always at the lowest price. Every week Action introduces 150 new products to keep the range relevant. More than two-thirds of all products cost less than 2 euros.

Action is continuously investing in product quality and sustainability. Action’s mid-term science-based greenhouse gas reduction targets are approved by SBTi. Action also maintains clear supplier and sourcing standards. Products are improved by reducing their carbon footprint and increasing their circularity. Examples include all Action-branded and white-label cotton products, that are sustainably sourced. All the timber used in our products came from sustainably managed forests, either under the FSC® or PEFC. All cocoa used in Action-brand products has been Fairtrade since 2022. In addition, the palm oil in Action’s own food and beverage products and candles is fully certified as sustainable.

Spacious and easily accessible, the new store is based at PC Malaga Nostrum, Calle Jaén, 1, Polígono Guadalhorce. The store is managed by a team of 23 colleagues. It is open from today onwards, from 9.00 am to 22:00 pm, Monday to Saturday.
