Action Distribution Centre Zwaagdijk decor for successful charity run
Sunday 29 January, a charity run was organised to raise money for the Princess Máxima Centrum. Actions biggest distribution centre in Zwaagdijk, the Netherlands was the decor for all runners.
The event was a great success. In total 424 runners and their audience gathered in the distribution centre to run between the racks full of pallets or cheer on their favorite runner. Each runner made effort to raise their own sponsorship amount, ranging from just a few tens to sometimes even more than a few thousand Euros. Action doubled this amount and all together we raised a total of €200.000,-! At the end of the day a check was handed to Renske Leyenaar-van de Wolfshaar and Nienke Beek from the Princess Máxima Centrum.
Below you can see a small impression of all athletes in Action! All together they ran 2252 kilometers! We thank all runners for their sportsmanship and the sponsors for their donations. And of course all employees of DC Zwaagdijk and the project team for their contribution to this beautiful event!
