Action opens first store in Rome, now 50 in Italy
Action opened its first store in the city of Rome on Thursday 19 October. This illustrates its strong expansion in Italy, reaching 50 stores and 1,000 employees in the country.
Starting this day, residents of Rome and anyone else visiting the Italian capital can enjoy the Action formula: 6,000 good quality products in 14 product categories (ranging from toys and crafts to household products, and from gardening to DIY and food) at the lowest possible price. Action offers a surprising assortment with 150 new products on the shelves each week. More than 1,500 products are priced for less than 1 euro. The average price of all products is less than 2 euros.
50th Action store in Italy
In 2023, Action expanded its retail presence by opening stores in five previously untapped regions: Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Abruzzo, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
“In just over 2 years since Action entered the Italian market, we have managed to reach an extraordinary milestone. This is the 50th Italian store and we are proud to bring the Action unique shopping experience to more Italians. 1,000th Italian employee
Action welcomes today its 1,000th Italian employee. This milestone underlines the company’s dynamic growth. Action’s engagement to create a unique place to work leans on hiring the right people as well as career development for existing employees. In total for the year 2023, the company expects to promote more than 60 employees in Italy.

Spacious and accessible, the new Action store is located inside the renowned and very popular Tor Vergata Shopping Center, at Viale Luigi Schiavonetti 426, and opens daily from 09:00 to 20:30, from Monday to Sunday.
