Paris, April 2nd, 2026 – For the fourth year in a row, Action, the non-food discounter, is elected Favourite French Retailer by the consulting agency EY-Parthenon as part of their annual “Favourite French Retailer” study.

“We are delighted that consumers in France value shopping at Action. In addition to this first place, Action is also the winner in the “Daily products” category, a confirmation of Action’s strong position in the daily life of French people, who enjoy the Action formula: across all countries an average of 21.6 million customers visit Action stores every week.
Action offers 6,000 products in 14 categories at the lowest price, of good quality and increasingly sustainable . Products are A-brands, supplier brands or private labels. More than two-thirds of sold products are priced below €2. And Action introduces 150 new products every week to keep its range relevant, enabling to adapt to changing customer demands quickly.

Action continues to invest in product quality and sustainability, maintaining clear supplier and sourcing standards through its Ethical Sourcing Policy (ESP). These continued efforts have resulted in over 99% certified sustainable sourcing for the cotton, timber, cocoa, coffee, and palm oil used in Action’s in-scope private and white-label products.
