Dutch consumers name Action Best Retail Chain and Retailer of the Year 2026

Zwaagdijk-Oost, 6 November 2026 – Action has been voted Best Retail Chain and Retailer of the Year 2026 by Dutch consumers for the second time in a row. With good quality products for the lowest price, Action continues to be the favourite retailer of Dutch consumers.

Also in other European countries, Action has won the heart of the people. Earlier this year, consumers also voted us Retailer of the Year in Germany. We also won Retailer category awards in Austria and Belgium. This comes after we were voted Favourite Brand of the French People for the fourth year in a row in April. We are very honoured that consumers all over Europe continue to value our formula.

“This is the second year in a row that we are awarded Retailer of the Year in the Netherlands, and we’re proud of that. Winning an award is fantastic, but winning it again is a real achievement,” says Wouter de Backer, General Manager of Action Netherlands. “These awards are a fantastic acknowledgement of the appreciation of our customers. The awards were announced during the Retailer of the Year Gala on 5 November, where Action was recognised for its customer loyalty, the dedication of our teams, and our strong formula of good quality products for low prices. On top of this, our international headquarters was named Management Team of the Year.
